Mys [cape] Tobizina, is one of the most picturesque places in Primorsky krai, Russia. The nature and the scenery of this place are simply breathtaking. When the water freezes in winter the nature gets transformed with intricate patterns and shapes.

Alex Hitrov, a prominent photoblogger from Vladivostok, has recently traveled to this cape. “An early wake up. A quick packing of photo equipment. A very quick ride to a check point that was installed by the military on Tobizin peninsula. A walk to Cape Tobizina with no flashlights in the dark. Fear of a dog attack. Frosty air. An exhausting way back. A passive escape from two dogs. A way back,” Alex describes his trip to the cape.
